At KVH we appreciate the trust our customers place in us. Because you trust us with personal and other confidential information, we respect your privacy and take our responsibilities regarding the security of your information very seriously.
KVH is committed to providing you with the highest quality of service while safeguarding your information. We are aware of our obligations regarding information in our custody that is confidential to our customers - whether created by contract (under a non-disclosure agreement or service contract) or under statute such as the Law concerning Protection of Personal Information (Law No. 57 of 2003, the “Personal Information Protection Law”) and the Telecommunications Business Law (Law No. 86 of 1984, the “TBL”).
KVH collects personal information only by lawful and fair means and only to the extent necessary to provide and improve our services, respond to inquiries, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We use personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected or for compatible purposes.
KVH takes appropriate organizational, physical and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration and leakage, and keeps such information accurate and up to date.
KVH does not disclose personal information to third parties except with the consent of the individual, where necessary to provide the requested service, or where required by law.
